Don spent most of his life in northern New Jersey before relocating to the Philadelphia area in 1990.  After graduating from Lehigh University with a B.S. degree in Business Administration he was with Price Waterhouse for 8 years.  He became a Certified Public Accountant and served as an Audit Manager.

He then joined Beecham Inc, which eventually merged to become SmithKline Beecham and then again merged to become GlaxoSmithKline.  He was with the company over 22 years in various positions of increasing responsibility.  Prior to retiring, his most recent position was Vice President-Finance of the SmithKline Beecham global Information Technology group. 

Don served in the U.S. Army and attended Officer Candidate School.  He became a First Lieutenant, Infantry and spent a year in Vietnam where he was awarded the Bronze Star and the Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry for Valor.

Currently a private investor and volunteer, Don is also President of Fairmount Property Group, a family real estate investment business.
